Social entrepreneur and global voice for women's economic empowerment. Founder of Rede Mulher Empreendedora (RME) and Instituto RME, she works at the intersection of the private sector and public policy as a Member of the Conselhão da Presidência da República (CDESS) and Board Member of the UN Global Compact Brazil. She chairs the W20, the G20 engagement group for the women's agenda. Recognized among Latin America's 500 most influential people (Bloomberg) and one of Forbes' most powerful women, she was awarded Social Entrepreneur by Folha and Executiva de Valor. She is also the author of the book 'Negócios: um assunto de mulheres - a força transformadora do empreendedorismo feminino'.
Ubuntu and the New Logic of Entrepreneurship
This panel invites the public to rethink entrepreneurship from the perspective of interdependence. Inspired by the African philosophy of Ubuntu, the panel proposes shifting the focus from the individual to the community, understanding innovation as collective construction and value as the result of relationships. By questioning the competitive model centered on the "I", we will discuss collaboration, co-responsibility and shared impact. Entrepreneurship, from this perspective, is about strengthening networks, because no success is truly solitary.
